As we watch the devastation and war happening in the Holy Land, we must look beyond the headlines, we must look beyond the politics, and we must see people. As this war unfolds, we must understand that some people are hurting, some are scared, some have died, and more will until peace is reached.

This Easter season, I find myself weeping a little more than usual, not just because of the last two months of trials but because of the hope I have in Jesus, who will one day destroy cancer and all our sicknesses, conquer pain and death. So I weep this Saturday between Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday, tears of joy mixed in with present pain. These tears are a reminder of what Jesus has said in John 16:33, “In this world, you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world.”

Revival is happening, but what does that mean? In my previous post on revival, I define revival as “An extraordinary movement of the Holy Spirit in God’s people to awaken them spiritually for kingdom work.” There are six different classifications of revivals. All of these start with a personal encounter with God and then spread through their adjoining circles until they reach their conclusion.

As a Christian, you have probably prayed for revival to happen. Growing up, your church may have conducted revival services. Yet the term revival is one of the most misunderstood terms among Christians. So, what is revival?

Sometimes the most important activities we do in life are also the hardest things to do. For instance, exercise and eating healthy are essential to our lives and yet a challenge to maintain regularly. However, out of all the things we do in our lives, the necessary activity is our Bible intake.

Do we really need more churches? If you aim at making disciples you will start new churches, if you aim at starting churches, you might make disciples. So, where do you start?

What would happen if God said “yes” to all your prayers?

What is your number one goal that you want to accomplish for 2023? The typical goals people set revolve around eating better, losing weight, and for Christians wishing to read their Bible more. Those are ALL good goals! What if, this year, you try something different for your goals?
