A Call to Prayer: Seeking God for Our Nation
Scripture Focus: 1 Timothy 2:1–4 (CSB)
“First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good, and it pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
On this National Day of Prayer, we join with believers across our nation in seeking God’s heart for our country, our leaders, and our communities. This guide is built around the call to pray in 1 Timothy 2:1–4.

A Closing Prayer
“Lord, we come to You with humble hearts on this National Day of Prayer. We lift up our nation, our leaders, our churches, and our neighbors. May Your Spirit move across this land. May we live in peace, walk in holiness, and be faithful in prayer. And may many come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ. In His name we pray, Amen.”
