Which Is More Important, “Vision” or “Clarity?”

It is one thing to know where you want to go; it is another thing to know how you are going to get there! Vision is where you’re going. Clarity is knowing where you actually are, what’s actually working, and what’s actually standing between you and where God is calling you. I have worked with leaders who can articulate their vision with passion, but when asked, “So what is the biggest barrier between where you are and where you want to go?” the room goes quiet. Not because they didn’t care. Because they’d never stopped long enough to look.
